Dr. Hashim Hasan Balubaid

Dr. Balubaid holds the position of Assistant Professor at King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences, and as Head, Division of Geriatric Medicine
Department of Medicine, King Abdulaziz Medical City, National Guard Hospital, Riyadh.

Dr Balubaid also a member of KSA Military and holds the rank of Colonel.

Dr Balubaid education was carried out at the Medical College, King Abdulaziz University, 1988 – 1995, in Jeddah, followed by the Health Care Management Program, Simon Fraser University, January – June 2005.
His  Internship was carried out at King Abdulaziz University Hospital,  
Followed by a Residency in Internal Medicine, Internal Medicine Residency Program, Department of Medicine at King Fahad National Guard Hospital
In Riyadh.

He also participated in a Geriatric Medicine Fellowship, at the Department of Geriatric Medicine, at the University of British Columbia, in Vancouver, Canada, and a  Hospice Palliative Care Medicine Fellowship- Fraser Health, Tertiary Palliative Care Unit, Burnaby General Hospital  in Burnaby, British Columbia,

Dr Balubaid has extensive list of publications, and has participated in a long series of conferences. He also taught and trained students during his residency, and he;d the position of Coordinator of Educational Activity of the Division of Physical and Geriatric Medicine, KAMC, Riyadh.
