Dr. Eradah Hamad

Eradah Hamad is a research gerontologist with a keen interest in dementia care, family gerontology, and caregiver assessment. She is currently a doctoral researcher in the field of Measurement and Methods of the Health and Rehabilitation Sciences at Western University.

Her doctoral research focuses on assessment tools of family caregivers of persons with Alzheimer’s Disease and other forms of dementia within and across cultures. In addition to her doctoral studies, she is pursuing a Gerontology Certificate from Ryerson University, Toronto, Canada. Eradah has published several scholarly articles and has presented her doctoral work at many health and aging-related international conferences.

She also has a number of ongoing research projects on caregiver assessment and dementia care in the Saudi Arabian cultural context. Eradah is a member of the National (American) Association for Professional Gerontologists (NAPG) and the Canadian Association on Gerontology (CAG).
