Dr. Youssef Alshehri

Dr. Youssef Alshehri obtained his Bachelor Degree in Medicine and Surgery from King Khalid University in 2005. He completed his residency training and obtained the Saudi Board Certificates in Psychiatry with Honors degree from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties in 2011. He continued his clinical training in geriatric psychiatry at University of Toronto and returned in October 2014 to work as Consultant Geriatric Psychiatry in Prince Sultan Military Medical City. In addition to that he is the Head of Geriatric Psychiatry Division and Deputy Director of Psychiatry Department and Director of Psychiatry Residency Training.

His clinical work includes the assessment and treatment of mental disorders in elderly including dementia and the associated behavioral and psychological symptoms. He participated in several conferences and scientific meetings and he has number of publications in his specialty.
