Dr. Mahaman L. Moussa Assistant Professor, College of Nursing |

Dr. Moussa has two Doctorates degrees. Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) in 1998 and a Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) from University of Massachusetts (UMASS) at Amherst, USA in 2011. He also obtained a Bachelor in Science of Nursing (BSN) from Winston Salem State University, USA in 2005, and Master in Science of Nursing/ Family Nurse Practitioner (MSN/FNP) from Winston Salem State University, USA in 2007. Dr. Moussa hold many licenses and certifications including RN license from North Carolina Board of Nursing, Florida board of Nursing, Alabama and Minnesota board of Nursing. He is certified Family Nurse Practitioner by American Academy of Nurse practitioner (AANP) He is Certified Diabetes Educator by American Diabetes association (ADA). Dr. Moussa has over 10 years of nursing carrier during which he worked at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center, USA then served as Assistant Medical director with Physicians Eldercare, USA providing geriatric primary care to elderly including Alzheimer patients. Dr. Moussa served as Assistant professor and graduate faculty at Winston Salem State University, USA for 4 years before joining King Saud University in August 2012. His has both national and International experience. He published many article and authored a book titled “An e-health approach to foster diabetes knowledge of African Americans”. Dr. Moussa is a member of Sigma Theta Ta International/Honor Nursing society and Southern Nursing Research Society.
